Cameron Club Closing Early - Inclement Weather

Due to incoming inclement weather, the Management Office will close at Noon today, and the Fitness Center will close at 3:00 pm today. All evening classes have been cancelled. Normal Cameron Club hours should resume tomorrow, at 4:45 am – weather permitting.

The Office Staff will work remotely and can be reached at managers@cameronstation.org or via phone at 703-567-4881, until 5:00 pm today. Weather permitting, normal hours should resume Tuesday, March 17, at 9:00 am.

Yoga classes appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. The approach includes carefully orchestrated movements, controlled pressure, and well-measured stretches, including range of motion exercises. Postures may be approached in gradual steps, with plenty of time to focus on breathing and repetition so that the practice is simple to do and easy to remember. This yoga style encourages a highly individualized approach to practice with on-going encouragement to make moment-to-moment adjustments.

Zumba

It's fun and effective, using interval training combining fast and slow rhythms for an effective aerobic workout while at the same time targeting your legs, abs, glutes and arms. The workout is watch and follow. The moves are repeated often enough for you to catch on and they're not complicated. The routines are repeated week after week with additions every now and then to spice things up even more! Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be 'FUN AND EASY TO DO' for Zumba participants to stick to the Zumba fitness program to achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is not only great for the body, but it is also great for the mind!
